Operations & Staff
Do I need an instructor for every game?
For commercial sessions, birthdays and large groups, an instructor improves safety and flow. Experienced teams may run simple formats with fewer staff — match staffing to group size and scenario complexity.
How many staff members does a laser tag club need?
Small mobile teams may run with 1–2 people; fixed venues with back-to-back sessions often need reception, instructors and technical support. Scale staff with daily session count.
How long does it take to prepare equipment before a game?
No. Basic setup does not require special technical knowledge. After reading the manual, you can switch on the equipment, select basic parameters and run a simple game.
Advanced settings, scoring, firmware updates and complex scenarios may require LASERWAR software or the tools recommended for the selected generation.
How should I charge equipment between games?
Use the supplied or recommended chargers and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Do not use unsuitable chargers, damaged cables or unsafe charging locations.
For commercial sets, create a clear charging routine so the equipment is ready before each event.
How do I check equipment before each event?
After delivery:
check the package contents;
charge taggers and hit sensors;
read the manual;
switch on the equipment;
run a test game;
check hit registration, sound, indication and scenario devices.
How do I run several groups in one day?
Stagger session times, maintain a charging rotation, keep spare sets ready and use simple scenario reset procedures. Fixed venues benefit from defined prep zones.
What should I keep as spare equipment?
For a commercial set, consider adding:
extra chargers;
spare headbands or vests;
transport cases or bags;
scenario devices;
service parts or consumables where available;
reserve taggers for busy events.
