Choosing Equipment for Business
Player sets, spare gear, chargers and scenario devices for commercial laser tag operations.
Choosing Equipment for Business
What equipment do I need to open a laser tag club?
For a laser tag club, choose a set designed for regular commercial use. A typical business set includes taggers, hit sensors, chargers and additional game devices for scenarios.
The exact configuration depends on your format. A mobile operator can start with a smaller set, while a fixed venue usually benefits from more player sets, spare equipment and scenario devices from the start.
How many player sets do I need for commercial games?
Many new operators start with 10 to 12 player sets. This is enough for small groups, birthday parties, school events and first corporate bookings.
If you plan high-volume games, large groups or a fixed arena, it is better to consider 16 to 20 player sets or more.
What equipment is suitable for mobile laser tag?
Mobile laser tag requires equipment that is easy to transport, quick to set up and reliable on different sites. A typical mobile set includes Phoenix or similar taggers, hit sensors, chargers and a few scenario devices.
It is also useful to add transport cases, spare headbands, extra chargers and at least one reserve tagger for commercial events.
What equipment is suitable for a fixed venue?
For a fixed venue, choose a set with extra capacity and enough devices for varied scenarios. In addition to taggers and hit sensors, consider:
digital flags or control-point devices;
first aid kits and ammo/med kits;
bases and scenario devices;
spare chargers;
reserve player sets for high-load days.
Do I need spare taggers, headbands and chargers?
For business use, spare equipment is strongly recommended. Commercial sets are used often and intensively, so reserve taggers, headbands, chargers and basic consumables help you avoid cancelled or reduced games.
Which additional devices should I buy at the start?
For the simplest team games, taggers, hit sensors and chargers are enough. For more engaging commercial games, add scenario devices such as:
first aid kits;
digital flags;
battle bases;
control points;
ammo boxes and other scenario devices.
Can LASERWAR build a custom set for my project?
Yes. You do not have to choose only a standard set. LASERWAR equipment can be selected for a particular format, player count, venue type and budget.
For example, a family set may include a small number of taggers and headbands, while a business set usually needs chargers, spare equipment, game devices and accessories for different scenarios.
