Year after year LASERWAR has been improving electronics, hardware and software. Every qualitative change we try to mark with a new number. This sort of gradation shows the history of the company's development, and the stages are marked by their features and additional novelties. The 9th generation is no exception. It absorbed the best features from the 8th, and the use of the new SMART RGB headband allowed us to look at the game play from a different perspective.
Wireless SMART RGB headband
Smart RGB headband is the result of long and painstaking efforts of our specialists. In the new version of the device, we made a number of constructive changes: we separated the battery and the control board into 2 different bodies, achieving a good balance. In addition, we have increased the range and reliability of Bluetooth connection by 30 %. With even more functionality and features, the headband weighs only 220 g, and it provides 48 hours of game play. The power indicator is embedded in the body. It will tell the player when the device is out of charge.
In the new headband, the glow and hit color parameters are programmed so that the customer can select the best settings for himself.
RGB headbands change their color depending on the chosen scenario: Zombie - green, Terminator - yellow. The zombie regeneration process is visualized by RGB LEDs. It is now possible to create your own game characters.
It is also worth paying attention to the Smart RGB headband background glow function. The option has 15 levels of brightness and can be switched off if desired. It is not necessary to use additional devices to mark players from opposing teams. The time of duct tape on weapons and headbands has passed. The 9th generation offers an elegant solution to those issues.
Tracing the shot direction has never been so easy. Each sensor of the headband is equipped with a vibration motor. When you are hit, only the sensors that registered the IR pulse will be activated. The player will have to blend in carefully and change his location more often to avoid being detected. And those who are under the fire will find it easier to coordinate their actions: searching for a shelter, adjusting the team fire - these are the elements for which laser tag players love the multizone feature. This unique feature has been implemented only in LASERWAR game sets.
Improved cuff design
The RGB headband cuff consists of two layers.
The first layer is AirMesh. It's made of a three-dimensional weaving grid that forms cells of different sizes in the outer and inner layers. The design ensures durability, constant air circulation and damping properties.
The second layer is a polyethylene foam sublayer that prevents moisture from entering the outer part of the headband, keeping the electronics and special fabric dry and clean. For the first time, we are offering a spare cuff in the basic package.
Reliable Pro and Microelectronic boards
Thanks to the use of small SMD components, which are installed with the help of automatic installation, our boards have small dimensions. The risk of marriage is minimal, the human factor is excluded. In addition, the new circuitry makes it possible to connect additional devices to the board without changing the platform as a whole. The Nano Protect coating reliably protects the boards against moisture and corrosion under extreme operating conditions.
Software for Android and Windows
Now you can upload statistics to the largest social networks: Facebook and VK. The user-friendly design and convenient functionality of the program will not allow the user to get lost in a large amount of data and will make it easy to change all game settings. The programmers have also thought about a system of players' ranks, ratings and achievements, which will add a competitive element to the game.
9th generation game sets are equipped with bright OLED displays. No glare in the sun, high levels of contrast and image clarity guarantee comfortable play at any time of day. Self-luminous pixels are formed from organic light-emitting diodes that produce deep saturated colors and consume minimal battery power.

Weapon hit sensor
LASERWAR has always promoted fair play. With the hit sensor, we solved the problem of 'corner' shooting. Punish the cheater by hitting his weapon! Such tactics will buy time and neutralize your opponent. This standalone option is now available in the entire LASERWAR range, with the exception of pistols.
Recoil imitation technology
With Feedback technology, any shot, wound or lack of ammo is accompanied by pleasant vibration indentation. The feature has long been familiar to players and has been used successfully in Playstation and Xbox gamepads. We have always taken care of the game process authenticity and decided to transfer this technology into our products.
A second battery is not required to operate the vibrator motor, which is very convenient when integrated into a wide range of weapons. We thought about the players' comfort: the recoil is soft, but quite tangible. Feedback is set up via the laser tag Configurator. You can switch off the recoil when the shot is fired, but the effect on wounds and deaths can be left active, which will the battery life.
To avoid a large number of ricochets when playing indoors, we have added a smooth shot power adjustment to the remote control. In this way, all taggers can be reconfigured at once to be conveniently used in night scenarios or indoor games in just a few seconds. The parameter can be adjusted on a scale from 1 to 100%.
Prism hybrid optical system
Using certified optical systems is not just a matter of game comfort; it is a matter of security. The Prism hybrid optical system used in our equipment has passed comprehensive and numerous tests. The result is a certificate of light and biological equipment safety. Based on the protocol of photometric and radiometric characteristics, the equipment has been declared harmless for playing laser tag.
