Use the package list to confirm taggers, sensors, charging and game control. Then ask for the exact generation, firmware and software requirements on the quote. If you already own equipment, give the supplier the model and generation so they can confirm what can be reused.

Divide by the players you can serve at once

A playable set is a tagger with its required hit sensor or vest. For a session sold to 10 players, hold the two extra sets as reserves where the quoted configuration includes them. Dividing the example kit prices by 10 gives about $772, $935 and $1,532 per active player, respectively. This is a comparison of the equipment packages, including their shared accessories.

If you sell 12 places, quote for 12 active sets plus your own reserve. Ask how many complete sets your staff can charge between sessions and how quickly they can swap a faulty set without stopping the game.

Build the rest of the budget around the kit

Get the equipment to your venue
Ask for an itemized quote, currency, validity date, destination, shipping terms and lead time. Confirm separately which taxes, import duties and delivery charges are included.
Get it ready for the first game
Allow for the charging area, local power, storage or transport cases, field obstacles, network coverage and operator training. For a scoreboard or live stats, list any required display, computer, router, account and software fees.
Keep sessions running
Get prices for replacement sensors, straps, chargers and additional player sets. Include routine cleaning and inspection, warranty freight and the time a set may be out of service.

Use the laser tag business plan to add premises, staff, marketing and working capital. For an existing field, use the outdoor equipment buyer's guide to check hit detection, charging and game control on site.

Questions to settle before you order

Can I price a kit for 16 or 24 players?

Ask for a new configuration. Reprice the active sets and reserves, then confirm charger capacity, game management, network hardware and scenario devices. These shared costs can change at a different rate from the number of players.

Is shipping included in the prices above?

Use the examples as listed equipment prices. Ask for a written, destination-specific quote that shows delivery, taxes and any duties before comparing the landed total.

How do I compare offers from different manufacturers?

Give each supplier the same player count, venue format and reserve requirement. Use the supplier checklist to compare the service terms and line items beside the headline price.
