MR-661 Griffin Practical Series
Combat prototype
Griffin was the "first-born" air gun in Russia. It was invented at the Izhevsk Machine building Plant design bureau on the basis of the IZh-46 sport-type pistol. Griffin is a 30-round submachine gun with a carbon dioxide gas cylinder, similar in appearance to the Israeli-made Mini-UZI.
The MP-661K Griffin features proven design innovations. The trigger mechanism is electronic and can be fired in both single shots and small bursts.
Subsequent modifications to the MP-661K Griffin submachine gun improved the fire rate of the model. We have preserved all the virtues of this "bird" in the Griffin laser tag game set.
Design features
The tagger is made on the basis of the МР-661К air pistol with a drum-type magazine. The model is equipped with a Weaver rail for a collimator sight. If you wish, you can also mount an optic sight. In addition, Griffin has standard sighting equipment.
The power button is located on the receiver. The power socket is hidden nearby. Press the button to reload the weapon. Griffin weighs 2.3 kg and is 80 cm long.
Gaming characteristics
The game set comes with only a tagger. Hit sensors, chargers, sights and additional accessories are purchased separately.
The SMG is powered by a 2.2 Ah lithium battery, providing up to 36 hours of uninterrupted play. The optimum range of fire - from 250 to 400 m, depending on the choice of optical system.
