AK-74M Golden Eagle Steel Series

The combat prototype is an upgrade of a weapon adopted for service in 1974. Having retained all the best qualities of the Kalashnikov AK-74M rifle, AK-74M gained some new features that significantly improved its combat and performance characteristics.

The main feature of the new model is a folding plastic buttstock, replacing the metal one. It was lighter than its predecessors, and similar in design to the AK-74 permanent plastic buttstock produced in the late 1980s. It is less likely to cling to clothing and does not cause discomfort when shooting in low or high temperatures.

The foregrip and handguard are made from glass-filled polyamide. In terms of heat output, the new material was almost the same as wood, which eliminated burns to the hands during prolonged firing. The longitudinal ribs on the foregrip made it easier and more stable to hold the gun while aiming fire.

The undying classic is now also available in a gaming version. Golden Eagle  has become the basis for many rental clubs, not only in Russia, but all over the world. The monolithic body, gun steel and bolt clang - there's nothing to break here. We saw burned down AK-74Ms that could be rebuilt and sent back into action. If you're considering buying rental equipment, Golden Eagle is a must!

The only thing missing from this model are rail on the receiver cover. But this issue can also be solved: there are special sights with a bracket that can be fitted to AK models.

Otherwise, you're looking forward to solutions that have been battle-tested. The bolt is used for reloading. Carrying sling clamps for a belt, a side-folding buttstock, corrugated elements on the foregrip are feature of the model. Arguably one of the most authentic and reliable taggers in our shop.

The only parts that give away the laser tag model are the charging socket with a rubber half-belt and the optical system tube. Otherwise, the tagger is structurally identical to the combat model.

A rifle is included in the scope of supply. Hit sensors, chargers, sights are to be purchased separately. The tagger is part of the Steel series, which means that it is possible to use it in rental conditions as well as buy for a personal use.

The weapon is packed with a 2.2 Ah lithium battery that guarantees 36 hours of uninterrupted operation. The total weight is 3.75 kg. It's possible to install an OLED display in the tagger, but in that case the buttstock is welded and cannot be folded in. Otherwise, there are no restrictions: any optics, any generation of laser tag electronics, a recoil imitation can be added to the game set.

Golden Eagle is a favourite with adults and teenagers. Just add it to the rental club's arsenal and you'll find that it's a gun you'll be dying to play with. Tested on my own experience.
