Laser Tag Arena Design Services
Opening your own laser tag arena is no simple task. The success of your business largely depends on its layout and design. A convenient, well-thought-out, and exciting play zone with striking design will give your players unforgettable experiences that will keep them coming back for more.
Special attention must also be paid to arena safety. Therefore, designing it requires the efforts of a whole team of high-level specialists – electricians, designers, builders, and artists. This is not something you can handle alone.
But you are not alone – feel free to turn to professionals. LASERWAR has been developing and manufacturing laser tag equipment for over 17 years. Close collaboration with our clients – laser tag club owners – has allowed us to accumulate invaluable experience in organizing play areas. With our involvement, about 150 arena-style laser tag venues and over a thousand laser tag club play zones have been opened.
We know everything about laser tag and offer you our experience and the support of LASERWAR specialists in designing a laser tag arena for your business.
Project Detail Levels
Depending on your plans and financial capabilities, we can design your future arena with several levels of detail – from simple sketches to complete working documentation and construction oversight. The total design cost depends on the level of detail and the area of the future arena.
Concept Development
This is the simplest arena project option. The data included in this package is minimal but sufficient for independent construction.
The package includes:
-
Technical specifications for the premises;
-
Definition of style, concept, zoning;
-
As-built plan of the premises (if necessary);
-
Re-planning plan (if necessary);
-
Layout solution (up to 3 layout options);
-
Sketch 3D visualization (3-4 views of the premises);
-
Material recommendations.
Design Project
The arena design project includes the layout of the play zone with placement of cover and interactive game elements, briefing room layout, and vesting room layout (where game kits are stored). The cost of additional arena elements (second levels of the play zone, complex decorative elements, interactive elements, art objects, etc.), as well as additional arena rooms (rest areas, reception zones, display cases, entertainment zones (arcade game areas / escape rooms / laser maze rooms, etc.) can be calculated individually, depending on complexity and client requirements. This project option most fully reflects the designed premises.
The package includes:
-
Technical specifications for the premises;
-
Definition of style, concept, zoning;
-
As-built plan of the premises (if necessary);
-
Re-planning plan (if necessary);
-
Layout solution (up to 3 layout options);
-
Equipment placement plan;
-
Floor plan;
-
Ceiling plan with lighting layout;
-
Lighting circuit plan with switch assignments;
-
Plan for placement of sockets, electrical outlets, devices for conducting laser tag games;
-
Necessary wall, structure, and detail development diagrams;
-
Explanations and recommendations regarding structural features and materials;
-
Material specifications;
-
3D visualization (up to 10 views of the premises, 1 view for visualizing each non-standard decorative element).
Design Project + Author's Supervision
This project option most fully reflects the designed premises and its realization. LASERWAR specialists and designers will oversee the entire construction phase according to the approved work schedule.
The package includes:
-
Technical specifications for the premises;
-
As-built plan of the premises (if necessary);
-
Re-planning plan (if necessary);
-
Layout solution (up to 3 layout options);
-
Equipment placement plan;
-
Floor plan;
-
Ceiling plan with lighting layout;
-
Lighting circuit plan with switch assignments;
-
Plan for placement of sockets, electrical outlets, devices for conducting laser tag games;
-
Necessary wall, structure, and detail development diagrams;
-
Explanations and recommendations regarding structural features and materials;
-
Material specifications;
-
3D visualization (detailed, photorealistic visualization of each room and individual decorative elements, quantity depends on project value);
-
Lists of reference and attached documents;
-
Author's supervision*;
-
Selection and consultation on materials, equipment, interior items with indication of article number, place of purchase, price;
-
Making amendments throughout project implementation.
*Author's supervision includes scheduled site visits for consultation, approvals, and verification of builders' and subcontractors' compliance with the design project for optimal implementation, making necessary adjustments to project documentation, preliminary and final selection of finishing materials, interior items, and furniture. It is the designer's control over the conformity of the created, constructed object to the design solutions adopted during the design and recorded in the documentation. Author's supervision guarantees project implementation exactly as it was designed, modified, or supplemented by its author, who has a comprehensive understanding of the entire design solution and its details. Author's supervision is carried out throughout the entire repair and finishing work period, until their full completion.
What is included in author's supervision:
-
Scheduled site visits (including business trips to the construction site);
-
Supervision of the correct authorial implementation of the design project;
-
Necessary correction and addition of drawings;
-
Remote control over project implementation;
-
Selection, purchase, and control of delivery of finishing and decorative materials, etc.;
-
Consultation of the client on any issues related to the renovation;
-
Consultation of builders on all provided drawings;
-
Control of compliance of delivered finishing materials with selected samples;
-
Placement of decorative elements in the interior.
Work Process and Timelines
1. Concept Design (2 to 20 working days)
Includes obtaining initial data, performing site measurements. At this stage, the future style and concept of the play space are discussed and approved. The client's wishes and capabilities are determined. At this stage, the following materials are approved:
-
Prototype selection for color scheme and style, development and approval of design concept with the client;
-
Room zoning plan (2-3 options);
-
Equipment layout plan (2-3 options – corresponding to the chosen zoning option);
-
Sketch visualization (rough visualization of the most important elements for understanding and approving the overall concept and style).
2. Working Documentation (up to 20 working days)
At this stage, working documentation is created according to the technical specifications and chosen room style.
-
As-built plan;
-
Final equipment layout plan;
-
Demolition plan (if required);
-
Partition construction plan;
-
Floor plan;
-
Ceiling plan with lighting layout;
-
Lighting circuit plan with switch assignments;
-
Plan for placement of sockets, electrical outlets, devices for conducting laser tag games;
-
Necessary wall, structure, and detail development diagrams;
-
Explanations and recommendations regarding structural features and materials.
3. Visualization (up to 5 working days)
At this stage, visualization of the future interior is created, taking into account the selected materials. Computer modeling will present 2-3 angles per room, allowing you to see in detail the color scheme, room style, realistic materials as close as possible to the selected ones, details of decor and lighting. The number of angles for visualization may vary depending on room complexity. This stage allows you to see the future arena at the design stage and more fully control the conformity of the constructed object to the project documentation.
