VSK Edelweiss Original Series

Combat prototype

The Combat VSK is designed as an alternative to the 9A-91 Val. The legendary Val demanded cheaper production, and the need for rifles of this class was enormous.
In 1994, the instrument-making design bureau in Tula created a combat analogue. Unlike the VSK rifle, it has a more rigid and comfortable plastic buttstock, and a modified mechanical sight, adjustable for a distance of up to 400 m.

In fact, the designers simply replaced the 9A-91's folding buttstock and grip with a detachable skeleton buttstock and added a detachable silencer and scope mount. Other features of the 9A-94 rifle are the stamped steel receiver, rotating bolt with 4 locking lugs, gas piston with a long stroke.

The legendary combat prototype is now available in our online shop.

Design features

Except for the plastic inserts on the foregrip and the rubberized butt plate, the model is entirely metal-based. This is another model in the LASERWAR range with full body integration. The rifle is only fitted with a charging slot with a rubber half-belt. There's no longer any evidence of electronic components in the interior. VSK activation is implemented via the fuse.

Edelweiss is monolithic: there are no stock adjustments, nor is it possible to position the bipod. If you're looking for a body that can withstand heavy game loads, look no further than this one. Use the bolt to reload the model. Telescopic sights deserve special mention. These are not included as standard, but if you want to play with the optics, you will need to purchase an optional side bracket with a Picatinny rail. The tagger is minimalist and doesn't involve lots of additional equipment.

The optical system is integrated into the original silencer to retain the authentic look.

Gaming characteristics

Edelweiss can run on any generation of electronics: 9, 10, Alphatag - owners of this rifle have no restrictions. The rifle is also packed with additional features: simulated recoil, illumination of the shot, loud sound invariably accompany LASERWAR game models.

By default, the scope of supply includes the rifle only: hit sensors and a charger are purchased separately. When it comes to scopes, our managers prefer 3-9x40, 3-9X50 and 3.5-10x40. There is no need to worry about the aforementioned optics overshadowing the overall design of the rifle. To reiterate, any of the sights will require the purchase of a side bracket.

The optimal range, depending on the optical system, varies between 250 and 400 m.
