M-76 Zastava steel Series

Combat prototype

M76 Zastava is a sniper rifle developed in Yugoslavia, based on the Kalashnikov assault rifle, adapted for the longer and more powerful 7.92×57 mm rifle cartridges. Also known abroad as M76 Yugo.

It was serially produced at "Zavodi Crvena Zastava". In service since 1976. Produced and exported to this day. Used by army snipers. In 1991 M76 was modified by the same factory to become M91.

The legendary rifle even shot down an American Apache helicopter in 2003. An ordinary guy with an M76 Zastava in his hands was able to do the trick.

Design features

The game tagger is based on a combat-like prototype. The body material is cast steel, the buttstock and foregrip are wooden. The receiver cover has a Picatinny rail for telescopic sights. The rifle is fitted with special belt loops.

Otherwise the layout is very similar to an AK, with all the advantages: reliability, solidity, stability of mechanical parts. The tagger has a "Steel" label, which means it's perfect for rental games as well as personal use.

Zastava is a rifle with a full body integration. The design features of M76 can be seen through a charging socket with a rubber flap and an optical laser tag system. There are no further hints of electronics inside. Turn the safety catch to turn the weapon on. An anti-vandal lock can be used for that purpose - that depends on your order details. Use the bolt to reload the weapon.

Gaming characteristics

The rifle is supplied by default, with a charger, hit sensors and telescopic sights available for purchase separately. For optics we recommend the 3-9x40,3-9x50 and 4x32 AOE scopes. The model has a rail on the receiver. There is no need to purchase side brackets.

M76 can optionally be equipped with a recoil simulator. This requires the purchase of a special vibration motor. Powered by a 2.2 Ah lithium battery: the tagger can handle 36 hours of non-stop play.

Zastava can run on any generation of laser tag electronics and versions of optical systems. The sound is provided by the integrated Pro Signal speaker, which indicates all activities. The trigger pull is duplicated by a cross-shaped light, which has long been a trademark feature of LASERWAR taggers.
