APB STECHKIN
Combat prototype
APB is an upgraded version of APS, a gun designed for silent combat. It was first adopted into service in 1972. The "Silent" was designed on the basis of the Stechkin pistol - the holster was replaced and a new buttstock was developed. Today it continues to be used in the arsenal of SOBR, elite forces and OMON.
The experts at LASERWAR have revived the legendary automatic pistol and created the APB Stechkin game set.
Characteristics of design
All electronics are fully integrated into the body. The body itself is metal, durable and sturdy. But don't forget, - you are looking at a game version of the Stechkin pistol. It will withstand hundreds of laser tag fights, but is not as tough as a combat weapon.
It's difficult to distinguish the tagger from the combat version. All the features of the prototype have also been retained in the game set. The model weighs 0.95 kg and is 37.5 cm long.
The gun is fitted with a tube that acts as an optical system. The optimal range of fire is up to 100 m. The tube is comfortably mounted and does not interfere with the standard sights.
Gaming characteristics
The game set is part of the ELITE series, which means that the tagger is covered by a 12-month warranty. Stechkin can easily handle 10 hours of continuous play on a single charge. The power source is an 800 mAh lithium battery.
The fire mode switch is used to turn the weapon on. The bolt is used for reloading. There is no return spring here, so the bolt has to be reset independently when reloading.
The game set comes with a tagger by default. Hit sensors and chargers are to be purchased separately.
