AKS-74U Hawk Practical Series

Combat prototype

AKS-74U is a shortened version of the AKS74 assault rifle, developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s for crews of military vehicles and aircrafts as well as gun crews and paratroopers.

It is also used in the Ministry of Interior Affairs and security services due to its small size. The game set is now also available to all laser tag players.

Characteristics of design

There are a total of three types of AKS-74U in the LASERWAR shop. Many players consider the Hawk the most advance version. The reason for this is RIS rails on the foregrip, which give you the option of mounting additional equipment.
There's not as much scope for imagination in other game sets.

Tactical grips, target indicators, flashlights and collimator sights are all available in Hawk. The basic version can be upgraded to such an extent that this tagger can easily beat any assault rifle.

The quality of workmanship is also worth mentioning: an all-metal body, folding buttstock, reliable materials - Hawk easily rivals the Steel Series taggers in terms of reliability. The bolt is used to reload the weapon. The safety catch has retained its functions. The model weighs 2.7 kg and is 86 cm long when unfolded.

Gaming characteristics

The basic scope of supply includes a rifle. Hit sensors, chargers, sights, tactical grips and gun belts are available separately.

As there are so many opportunities to mount sights, we recommend 1x40 and EOTech 551 collimator sights. The branded LASERWAR tactical grip will be a nice addition to the tagger. And of the belts, any "one-pointed" belt will do. If in doubt about your choice, LASERWAR managers are ready to provide expert advice.

The tagger runs on a 3 Ah lithium battery, 36 hours of play on a single charge are guaranteed. All Li+ series devices are suitable for charging. The installation of a vibrator motor and OLED display is possible at extra cost.

Hawk supports any electronics platform and any version of the tube optical system. It confidently hits targets at distances from 250 to 400 m.
