Thompson Steel Series

Combat prototype

An American submachine gun invented in 1918 by John Taliaferro Thompson. This weapon became famous during the Prohibition era in the US, becoming the most common and favorite gun not only among police officers, but also among members of various American criminal gangs. The weapon aquired its popularity due to a number of nicknames - "Tommy the Hun", "The Destroyer", "The Chicago Typewriter", "The Chicago Piano", "Chicago-style", "Chicago Shuffleboard", "Trench Broom", "Trench Cleaner", "The Crusher" and simply Thompson.

The gun was valued by military, police, FBI and civilians for its merits, such as the large 45 ACP cartridge, accuracy and rate of fire. It gained popularity among gun collectors for its historical significance: Thompson became famous in works of popular culture set in the Prohibition era in the USA or World War II, and became one of the most popular guns in the world.

Characteristics of design

Steel and wood are the perfect combination of materials for laser tag long-timers in rental. That said, weapon isn't just reliable, it's also a pretty good-looking model. The Tommy-gun's appearance is memorable and recognisable within seconds: the magazine, the pistol grip and the unusual foregrip have all become the famous trademarks of the model.

The stock and grips are made of wood. They have unique finger hollows for a secure grasp. The buttstock is angled slightly downward, making it more comfortable and stable. The model weighs 4.6 kg. Use the bolt to reload the model. The conventional sights are comfortable and perform admirably in combat. The tagger is perfect for scenario games and historical shows. It fits perfectly into quest rooms and rental games.
