Cerberus Mine
Description
The Cerberus laser tag mine is one of the most popular devices. It is valued for its versatility, realism and gameplay sharpness. It replaces the motion-sensor mine. LASERWAR's specialists designed it after the American M18A1 anti-personnel mine and the Russian MON-50.
Cerberus is memorable in both name and appearance. At first glance it looks like just a black box, but clever electronics and a simple design make the laser tag mine a real "blast" on the playground. We know firsthand how important durability is to every device: Cerberus is made from impact-resistant plastic that withstands thousands of games.
Apart from a formidable-looking device, you get: The laser tag mine has eight IR LEDs on the front, two IR sensors and one red LED indicator. They monitor operation and eliminate accidental triggers. All gameplay is accompanied by sound from the built-in speakers. The top of the mine has a slot for the fuse, which is covered by a special plug. On the rear, holes are made for metal pins, and on the sides there are two eyelets for straps. The mounting kit for the game set is available in LASERWAR shop.
Functions
At the bottom of the body, there is a charging socket and a power button. The working principle is simple - turn on the button and start playing. Li+ type devices are suitable for charging; the battery will provide up to 36 hours of continuous operation. The black color will help to disguise the mine. Cerberus is a small device, it weighs 580 g and is 21 cm long. It is conveniently transported for playground games or competitions.
The IR pulses from the mine affect players up to 12 m away. It all depends on the settings. The main task of the game set is to get "exploded". There are three ways to activate the action: the mine is triggered by the movement of players nearby, another mine or grenade "explodes" nearby, and the player
fires at the mine with a tagger. All gameplay is accompanied by realistic sound from the powerful speakers located inside.
Device settings
The game set makes any scenario game worth playing. Capturing the flag or holding the control point has become a real challenge. The mine is set up manually using the plug-in key, the power button and the laser tag remote control.
The mine will inform the player with a beep on entering the admin mode. Further settings are made using the smart Nano remote control: the small button selects the desired setting and the large button changes its value. The mine will save the settings and give a short beep.
After the "explosion", the mine will beep and "flash" red. This will last 10 min, then the mine will switch off. When set to "explode", the device affects all nearby players. When setting up a "shot", the mine only reacts to players from the opposite team.
The simulated explosion is accompanied by sound and illumination. There is also a "pyro-packet pairing" function. Cerberus blasts the pyro-packet along with itself. The option can be selected when ordering a laser tag mine from the online shop.
